So there have been some rumours kicking around about Tapped opening a new shop. Well it’s about time we let you all know they are true; No 114 Tottenham court road a few doors down from Warren street tube station.
The shop is one of the oldest original properties on the street with much of a 1930s shop front remaining.
We have uncovered some true gems inside. Hidden behind two false ceilings; a 4.5m high original ceiling. We’ve also uncovered a rather unique 80 year old mirror, truly showing its age. The shop fitting is designed and built by the same team as No.26; with the original features we have to work with I have no doubt it will be jaw dropping.
On the coffee side of things, much the same as with No26, trail blazing the first V60, aropress and siphon filter menu. We are working on a yet to be seen concept from an idea bubbling under the surface. With any luck we will see the same results proving the beautiful caffeine imbibing Londoner does appreciate the difference. I’m not giving too much away until we have some menus finished and tests run, perhaps the subject of our next post.

Wow ! Great to see the exansion of high quality coffee in London.
